Hi, I’m Jess - a new mum, lifelong sewing enthusiast, and former fashion biz insider. For 20 years, I worked behind the scenes in fashion, but stitching and pattern-making have always been my happy place.
Now, since my maternity leave, I’m sewing more than ever… with the sweetest little muse to create for!
Mini Kido was born because I kept dreaming up clothes for my daughter that I simply couldn’t find - like her first handmade set: breezy printed trousers, a tie-front top, and a sunhat (perfect for those not-too-hot, not-too-cool summer evenings).
That’s what Mini Kido is all about: thoughtfully designed, limited-edition pieces that feel special, stylish, and just a little different from the high-street usuals. Every stitch is made slowly (and happily!) by hand in London.

Mini Kido was founded in 2025 by Jessica, a new mum with a passion for timeless style and thoughtful design. Inspired by the bold, fashion-forward trends of adult clothing, we create miniature statement pieces for kids who love to stand out.
